Bisti De-Na-Zin Wilderness
Instagram is a wonderful way to find out about new places to go visit. That is how we found out about Bisti De Na Zin Wilderness. This incredibly unique badlands habitat is location on Bureau of Land Management land and free to access and explore. After seeing photos of these otherworldly hoodoos and rock formations, we knew we wanted to visit. Little did we know that New Mexico has some of the most epic sunsets. We experienced some incredible light to photograph these formations during our trip there. Ray also got out to do some wildlife photography. Some mornings I stayed in the van because it was just too cold. We camped in the parking lot of the wilderness access, which is allowed, among a few other campers and RVs, but when visiting the wilderness area and hiking around we hardly saw another person. It was pretty amazing, and highly recommend a visit!bis
